When Waiting on a Recharge Isn’t an Option, Trust the LRTS10

The industry’s first battery-powered digital micro-ohmmeter built on the Milwaukee® M18™ platform — swap batteries in seconds and keep testing.

How Much Test Time Are You Losing to a Dead Battery?

LRTS10 Low Resistance Test Set

Battery-powered testing isn’t new. A truly interchangeable battery system is.

The LRTS10 low resistance test set is the first micro-ohmmeter to run on the trusted Milwaukee M18 battery platform. When power gets low, you don’t stop testing to recharge, you simply swap in a fresh battery in seconds and keep working.

Already invested in Milwaukee tools? Use the same batteries you own. The LRTS10 works with all Milwaukee M18 batteries, so the packs on your truck are the packs that power your test set. Need more runtime on a long day? Carry a spare.

Every LRTS10 ships with one Milwaukee M18 XC5.0 battery, a charger, and test leads and a cable bag. Everything you need to power up, charge up, and get the job done. A single XC5.0 pack delivers more than 1,100 tests.

NOTABLE FEATURES

  • Interchangeable battery system
  • Test current range up to 10 A

Where the LRTS10 Goes to Work

Technicians use the LRTS10 to verify low-resistance connections in the field, the shop, or the lab — anywhere a four-wire Kelvin measurement tells you whether a connection is sound. Typical applications include:

  • Circuit breakers and switchgear
  • Bolted busbar joints and cable terminations, lugs, transformers, and motors
  • Ground and bonding connections

Six Current Ranges, from 0.1 mA to 10 A

The LRTS10 gives you six user-selectable test currents: 0.1 mA, 1 mA, 10 mA, 100 mA, 1 A, and 10 A. Match the test current to the connection in front of you instead of working around a fixed output. On the 10 A range, the LRTS10 resolves down to 1.0 µΩ with a measurement accuracy of 0.2% + 5.0 µΩ.

Get results on a 480 × 320 color LCD display that stays readable in a switchgear room or out in the sun. A result lock option holds your reading on screen so you can record it with confidence before moving to the next test. Visual indicators and an optional audio alarm keep you informed at every step. When the test ends, the LRTS10 discharges the test circuit automatically.

Rugged Enough for the Truck, Light Enough to Carry

At 9 lbs. (4 kg) without a battery, the LRTS10 is built to travel. The instrument lives in a hard case measuring 16.7” × 13.4” × 6.8” that carries the test set, the battery, the charger, and 8 ft spring-loaded Kelvin probe test leads together, so nothing gets left behind.

With the lid closed, the case carries an IP67 rating. The LRTS10 operates from 14°F to 122°F, which covers most of what a field season will hand you.
